Roofing Materials Used: CertainTeed Landmark Architectural Shingles, Moire Black
Location: Great Neck, Virginia Beach, VA
Roof Size: 67 square feet
Project Description:
After tornado damage was done to this Virginia Beach home, its roof was top priority. Requiring a full roof replacement, the client chose the CertainTeed’s Landmark ® line of shingles. These are a popular choice with Andrews Roofing clients as they are durable, attractive and come in a variety of colors. For this project, the Moire Black shade was chosen, which incorporates black and gray for a variegated look, and is a great contrasting color to the home’s light brick exterior.
The Landmark series is engineered with a dual-layer design that includes a fiberglass base and protective outer layer that is designed to withstand winds of up to 110 mph, providing superior protection against severe weather conditions. They also have a Class A fire resistance rating from Underwriters Laboratories for added protection against fire hazards. These shingles are also made with CertainTeed’s proprietary StreakFighter ® algae resistant coating, to prevent unsightly dark streaking.
Pair all of that with their limited lifetime warranty, and you can have peace of mind that your roof and your home will be protected and beautiful for a long time to come.
