Roofing Material Used: rigid polyisocyanurate (poly-iso) insulation board; 24-gauge standing seam metal roof with KYNAR® 500 finish
Roof Size: 4,500 sq ft
Location: Portsmouth, Virginia
Project Description:
For this new construction Starbucks near the Portsmouth Naval Hospital, we installed a high-performance commercial roofing system designed for durability and energy efficiency.
The roof assembly includes rigid polyisocyanurate (poly-iso) insulation board, providing excellent thermal resistance and helping reduce the building’s energy consumption.
On top, we installed a 24-gauge standing seam metal roof system with a KYNAR® 500 finish in green that adhered to Starbuck’s brand standards. This premium coating offers superior protection against fading, chalking, and corrosion—ideal for long-term curb appeal in high-visibility locations. Standing seam metal roofs are known for their longevity, low maintenance, and strong performance in harsh weather.
